Shaan Farooqi, a Producer and Cinematographer, is the creative force behind Kaiser Films. His filmmaking journey began at the age of nine when his father introduced him to a broadcast camera at a show in Dallas, Texas. Immediately captivated, Shaan developed a deep passion for the art of filmmaking. Over the years, his love for cinematography has fueled his involvement in a wide array of projects, from conventions and concerts to banquets, presidential forums, festivals, and much more. His versatility is evident in his ability to work with various camera styles, including static one-camera setups, handheld shoulder-mounted rigs, stabilization gimbals, and Steadicam systems. Shaan is proficient in using a range of professional equipment, such as ENG broadcast cameras, film cameras, and DSLRs from leading brands like Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Blackmagic Design. Alongside his camera skills, Shaan has honed his editing abilities, producing numerous documentaries, short films, and promotional content for both nonprofit organizations and private companies. His editing work has earned him recognition, including three selections at prestigious film festivals like the Los Angeles Film Festival.

Shaan's career as a cinematographer and video editor includes working on a variety of high-profile projects and collaborating with well-known figures such as Trevor Noah, Jay Sean, Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Julian Castro, Senator Chuck Schumer, Mayor Eric Adams, President Jimmy Carter, President Joe Biden, and Prime Minister Imran Khan. In the South Asian entertainment industry, he has worked on shows featuring stars like Arjun, Fawad Khan, the late Junaid Jamshed, Gulshan Grover, and many more. Additionally, Shaan has partnered with Republic Records, the world's largest record label, working on promotional videos for top artists like Drake, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, and The Weeknd. His work has been featured on major American television networks, including FOX, NBC, and CBS, as well as various streaming platforms. With 17 years of experience in television and broadcasting, Shaan’s passion led him to create Kaiser Films and expand into the wedding industry.
